Tritech and ABEM nominated to Swedish Embedded Award
Tritech has with ABEM and product Terraloc Pro been nominated to Swedish Embedded Award where they will compete in the category “Enterprise”.
Tritech has been a development partner of ABEM for many years, and development of Terraloc Pro began in 2010.
ABEM Terraloc Pro is a seismic instrument designed for the widest possible range of seismic applications, from micro – seismic surveys of concrete structures to measure the properties and thickness of the earth crust. Although it is designed to deliver outstanding data over this wide range of applications, the real strength behind ABEM Terraloc Pro in the optimization for the most demanding seismic surveys – near-surface geophysics.
- “Terraloc Pro has a unique market position in its niche. There is no other equally versatile solution among portable seismic instruments on the market today. The innovative user interface and measuring functionality provides an unprecedented flexibility and opportunities that would otherwise only be found on much more expensive systems,” says Fredrik Nyqvist, Product Manager at ABEM.
ABEM Terraloc Pro is innovative in the way that it completely focuses on customer value and customer needs. The same is true for the entire development process from design through industrialization. The innovative functionality of the product reduces the total cost of seismic investigations.
- “One of the key business requirements of the project was to reuse the structure from ABEMs product line. The limited space demanded very innovative design of the electronics and software architecture. I think that we have succeeded with that in Terraloc Pro in close cooperation with Tritech,” continues Fredrik Nyqvist, Product Manager at ABEM.
- The development has been fun and it has challenged Tritech entire development organization. From developers to project managers and subcontractors. With the delivery of Terraloc Pro, we have shown that Tritech is the right partner for developing intelligent embedded systems for harsh applications,” comments Åke Wernelind , CEO Tritech Technology.
The winners of the Swedish Embedded Award will be presented at the Embedded Conference Scandinavia on 5-6 November. For more information about the Swedish Embedded Award, see www.embeddedpriset.nu.
